The Summer of Change, Part 1: Welcome Graham!

It’s been a busy summer and that has kept me away from blogging longer than I have liked but I’m going to make a valiant effort to get back into the swing. I’ll save you from the “list post of excuses” that I would tend to write at this point and just summarize them all under one category: changes.

All of the changes have been for the better and all of them have certainly been great. Chiefly among them is the addition of our son, Graham(1), seven or so weeks ago.

I haven’t been hiding Graham from the internet, his name and photos have been all over Facebook and Twitter and that’s why it’s a bit weird to be blogging about him now. However, Facebook and Twitter are mediums that very much document realtime whereas this blog is a better historical record. I didn’t want Graham to be getting ready for kindergarten and I realize that I haven’t found time to blog about him.

In short, he’s an amazing baby(2).

Stats:
  • Born: June 24 ~5:30 PM
  • Weight: 8 lbs 13 oz
  • Length: 21.5”
Here are some pictures:

(1) Formerly, "the blueberry". (2)Most parents probably think that, however, I know that I'm right about it.
